Depremin ard\u0131ndan Bo\u011fazi\u00e7i \u00dcniversitesi Kandilli Rasathanesi ve Deprem Ara\u015ft\u0131rma Enstit\u00fcs\u00fc, \u201cMarmara Denizi Depremi Bilgilendirme Notu\u201d ba\u015fl\u0131kl\u0131 bir rapor yay\u0131mlad\u0131. Raporda, 23 Nisan\u2019dan bug\u00fcne kadar (26 Nisan) 445 art\u00e7\u0131 sars\u0131nt\u0131 meydana geldi\u011fini, ilk ana depremin ard\u0131ndan 5.2 b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnde iki ana art\u00e7\u0131 depremin oldu\u011fu belirtildi. Art\u00e7\u0131 depremlerin genellikle Orta Marmara ve Kumburgaz segmenti aras\u0131nda, 15-20 kilometrelik bir alanda yo\u011funla\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131 vurgulanan raporda, \u015f\u00f6yle denildi: \u201cDeprem, Marmara B\u00f6lgesi ve civar\u0131ndaki illerde hissedilmi\u015ftir. Deprem merkez \u00fcss\u00fcndeki aletsel \u015fiddet MMI 8 ve yerle\u015fim yerlerinde aletsel \u015fiddet de\u011feri V\u2019e kadar ula\u015fm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<br \/>\nDeprem ivme kay\u0131tlar inceledi\u011finde; yap\u0131lar\u0131n maruz kald\u0131\u011f\u0131 spektral ivmenin, tasar\u0131mda esas al\u0131nan spektrumun olduk\u00e7a alt\u0131nda kald\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. \u0130lgili depremi takiben alt\u0131nc\u0131 dakikada tsunami uyar\u0131 mesajlar\u0131m\u0131z \u00fclkemizde AFAD\u2019a, b\u00f6lgemizde de sistemimize \u00fcye olan \u00fclkelerin ilgili merkezlerine iletilmi\u015ftir. G\u00f6zlemlerle tsunami uyar\u0131s\u0131 aletsel olarak teyit edilmi\u015ftir.
